Relaxed Bravery

Relaxed bravery.
That might sound like a contradiction.

But in my experience, the best leaders and the best athletes have it.

Think of elite runners.
The fastest sprinters aren't the ones who strain the hardest.

They're the ones who stay relaxed while they move at full speed.

Or top tennis players.
Their greatest matches are played with focused calm, not clenched fists.

It's the same with leadership.

When we're under pressure, the instinct is to tighten up.
But real courage often comes from a more grounded place.

Bravery doesn't have to be bold declarations or high-stakes decisions.

It can be quiet. Steady. Composed.

And sometimes, relaxing into the moment is what allows us to act with clarity and strength.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately: how to be brave without burning out.

Have you ever experienced that kind of calm under pressure? What helped you find it?

Let me know in the comments.
